And the A8(M) in Northern Ireland. I once joked that we’re now halfway to every UK territory having a short dual carriageway between two roundabouts that’s called A8(M).

The seven lane single carriage way section of the A38(M) Ashton Expressway leading into Birmingham is the Yin to the A6144(M)'s Yang.

Secondly "UK's Only single-carriageway motorway"? The A601(M) you have also told us about in this amazing site ?

Yes, I did follow up with a note to mention that - the A6144(M) was the only fully single carriageway motorway complete with its own number, but there were others, and there still are a couple. All of them in the north west, oddly!

I am quite fascinated with this road along with my favourite the M10 (I was also born in Feb of 2006 😅). I actually really enjoy this blog it’s awesome, also I’m glad you enjoyed your stickers and magnet 😁

That's a wonderful story. And I thought that the M10 was weird but I was wrong
